Case Research and Applied Innovation

Case research is a central part of my applied scholarship. I use cases to document organizational transformation, entrepreneurial decision-making, technology adoption, and community innovation in ways that support teaching, research, and public engagement.

Case Themes

AI and Digital Transformation

Cases in this area examine how organizations assess AI readiness, redesign processes, and make strategic technology decisions. Examples include digital transformation in tourism, AI in voice-over work, AI-enabled B2B marketing, and responsible adoption in organizational settings.

Tourism, Agriculture, and Regional Innovation

Regional cases study how local industries and public-facing organizations use analytics, platforms, and emerging technologies to improve decisions. Examples include Tourism Lethbridge, agriculture analytics, food services, and community enterprise projects.

Responsible Technology Adoption

Responsible adoption cases focus on governance, ethics, implementation constraints, human judgment, and organizational learning. This theme links cases on AI, quantum readiness, mining safety, nonprofit data systems, and applied analytics to the broader research program in responsible digital transformation.
